Discover
Discover Research is a program run by the Engineering Student Council which aims to provide students with an opportunity to learn more about engineering research by touring on-campus research facilities with professors and witnessing demonstrations. It is an excellent way to familiarize yourself with what it's like to work in a laboratory and to observe the tools and methods used by many of our distinguished professors. All students are eligible to participate and need only to fill out a Discover Research registration form and submit it to a box in the ESC room. Once registered, you will automatically receive more information about upcoming laboratory tours and events via e-mail. Contact Kyle Hosford at
Discover Research with any questions.
Discover Industry, a new program similar to Discover Research, will provide students with the opportunity to observe different companies in different industries, allowing students to take tours of different companies' facilities. As with Discover Research, this is a great way to see what it would be like to work with industry players. Contact Derek Gregoriev at
Discover Industry with any questions.
