The EngiTECH Career Fair is a student-run event planned exclusively by ESC members. Each year, over 50 companies and 600 students and alumni attend EngiTECH. The Engineering Student Council (ESC) at the University of California, Irvine is a non-profit, student-run organization. ESC serves as the central network of communication between students, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals in
order to facilitate a culture of successful and innovative engineers.
Among over 570 student organizations on campus, ESC is the proud recipient of numerous outstanding awards from the Associated Students of University of California, Irvine. Most recently, ESC was named Most Outstanding Student Organization (2010) and hosted the Most Outstanding Annual Program (2010 & 2012). At the EngiTECH Career Fair, companies have the opportunity to recruit from a wide variety of engineering students from the country's top ranked university under 50 years old (Times Higher Education Schools Under 50 Years Old - 2012). Undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni from various engineering disciplines attend EngiTECH in search of internships, part-time jobs, and full time positions. Engineering disciplines include but are not limited to aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, computer science, electrical, environmental, mechanical, and materials science.
